Rumble Powerup Queue

Postby Jai-Kudo on Tue Feb 12, 2019 10:45 am

Hi,
I always read online that in Rumble the item distribution is the same for both teams, that both teams get the same queue of powerups.
But i got suspicious and finally got a replay where everyone gets a different powerup right at the beginning.

Rumble is already quite lucky, thats in the nature of the gamemode. But i think at least the items should be the same for both teams.
Any thoughts, or some official information?

I always thought it was 100% random on which item you received and your team and their powerups had no impact on what you get.

99% sure it's completely random.

It's random. However, random is still flawed and tends to favor some over others. For example iTunes attempting to pick a random song.

I guess he could argue random doesn't exist since it is a computer program that creates "random". I don't think the system is against anyone though.
