The EU version is a little bit different than the US version. Key differences include:
The package is both Demo version and Full version. You will be able to download it from the store for free and it will be the demo version, which includes several single player challenges and mini-games, and allows you to play full games online, even with people who have already purchased the full game. This demo works on a trial period, and will remain active for approximately 90 minutes of in-game play, which does not include time spent in menu and other places where you are not playing (time period subject to change without notice). Once your demo time runs out, the game enters a very limited play mode, where no online is allowed, and single player play is much more limited.
At any time you will be able to purchase the full version in game in several places, as well as purchase it from the XMB (press triangle on our game, and select purchase). Once the game is purchased, it will unlock full playability and remove all restrictions. Any progress you made with the demo mode will be carried over to the full version.
EU version will NOT be able to play with US version players.
We are hoping this demo version will be a better representation of the full game, and make transitioning from demo to full easier for the user.
Gonna be regional forever? i know other games like R:FoM integrated the two after a while. Hoping so.
